This fee is for fuel cost ONLY, and does not pay for the time invested in the pickup or the recycling.
The standard fee for out of town pick-up is $10-$20 depending on distance from Nyssa. Longer distances (Boise, etc.) may be subject to higher fees.
Please note that many landfills charge dump fees for appliances, depending on weight. The fuel surcharge may be less than your dump fee.
The money collected goes straight into my gas tank, so that I can keep performing this service in the community, keeping large recyclables out of our landfills.
